Walmart, an ideal location for finding great deals with its constant low prices and weekly specials, has opened a new location in Boynton Beach, Florida. The new location opened on Wednesday, October 26, and is located on Federal Highway near Gulfstream Boulevard, barely straddling the Delray Beach and Boynton Beach border.
Before the recent opening, Walmart only had one other location in Boynton Beach on Old Boynton Road. Because of the lack of locations in the city, the Old Boynton Road location often drew in crowds at all hours of the day, sometimes making it difficult to take advantage of advertised deals. Freebies and moneymakers would frequently fly off the shelves, so the new location is terrific news for bargain hunters.
The brand new, 93,755 square foot store will be open 24 hours like the majority of other Walmart locations. Its opening did not only mean good news for those with a frugal lifestyle, but also meant a large amount of job openings—250, to be exact.
