After learning he didn’t receive the award, he fired a bullet into the unnamed employee of the month’s unoccupied car window. Authorities have arrested Mitchell for the incident.
A Broward County Sheriff’s spokesperson said being named Employee of the Month should be something good, but wasn’t because of a disgruntled employee.
After the victim had won the award, Mitchell argued with her about their workloads and told her, “I’m gonna show you.” He showed by shooting at her car. Mitchell did confirm his co-worker wasn’t in the car before he fired.
A Walmart spokesperson said Mitchell no longer works for the company and the award doesn’t have any financial awards. It’s just a way to identify an employee that demonstrated outstanding service. Read more about this crime at the Fox News website.
