Walmart's Great Value label chicken nuggets have been recalled due to the possibility that they may contain foreign objects. This recall affects more than 90,000 pounds of precooked, frozen chicken nuggets. The chicken nuggets were recalled by Perdue Farms located in Perry, Georgia.
The USDA considers this a Class II recall, meaning the possibility of health being affected is slight. It was reported that Perdue Farms noticed blue plastic pieces in some product that was brought to their attention due to consumer complaints.
The recalled chicken nuggets are marked with number P-33944. There will also be a case code of 89008 A0160. They will show a best used by date of June 9, 2011.
At this time, no illnesses or injuries have been reported. However, if you have purchased this product, you may return it to your local Walmart store for a refund.
