Walmart Black Friday fight: Cheap towels at Walmart cause fights across US

A Walmart Black Friday fight isn't something you'd expect to hear about -- or maybe you would given the amazing deals that the store offered this year. Televisions and other electronics were at unbelievably low prices -- but that's not what had people fighting. On Nov. 30, Huffington Post reported that people were fighting over (wait for it)... towels. Evidently the prices were too good to be true and people ended up brawling over the cotton bath sets.

"I saw one woman fighting over towels. Everybody just started going toward them," Walmart customer Droniqua Fisher told WMC-TV in Arkansas. And she wasn't the only one who witnessed fights over bath towels.

A Walmart Black Friday fight over towels broke out in several other cities around the country. It is unclear just how cheap the towels at these Walmart locations were but evidently people really had their hearts set on bringing these particular towels home -- and they did whatever they could to ensure that happened.

"I will never go Black Friday shopping again. This trashy girl tried to fight me in Walmart over a towel. Who does that?" wrote one Twitter user (via Huffington Post). "Ppl at Walmart right now risking their lives for a towel set they wanted for their bathroom (sic)," tweeted another.

The Walmart Black Friday fight for towels says so much about the American people, doesn't it?
