The internet is discovering that Walmart is in the business of dying - offering caskets for sale on their website only.
The cheapest one retails for just under a thousand dollars. The most expensive one goes for as much as $3,199.00. If you are not a Walmart fan, try Costco for their selection of caskets.
The Lady of Guadalupe casket would go for $999 at Walmart, but the same brand sells for $924.99 at Costco. Urns go for as much as $100 on both Walmart's and Costco's websites.
The caskets are made by Star Legacy Funeral Network, Inc. And all metal caskets are made in the USA. Questions have been intriguing:
1. Will wooden caskets be offered (unanswered)
2. Will caskets for two be offered? (unanswered)
3. Available in extra large: All our caskets are standard size and accommodate most people. However, if you mean a 'larger' person we have three (3) casket models that are built extra wide with four (4) extra inches of interior width. Please look at our Royal Star (2 versions) or the Regal Extra Wide.
4. I got my casket today and it doesn't seal. The casket you ordered is gasketed and has a rubber seal. The gasket seals the casket where the lid comes down and closes. However, no casket, including the one you ordered, is air tight or completely sealed.
