Wall puts on show for '78 Bullets in Wizards victory over visiting Pacers

The Washington Wizards defeated the visiting Indiana Pacers Saturday in a 104-85 victory at the Verizon Center. Wizards guard John Wall led the way with a team-high 37 points (16-for-25), 26 in the first half alone, as Washington pulled ahead in the fourth quarter by as many as 21 points.

Wizards center Kevin Seraphin went 5-for-5 in the fourth and added 10 of his 15 points in the period, which helped a struggling Wizards offense--aside from Wall--secure the home victory. Wall ended up with only 5 assists on the night. Martell Webster got off his 1-for-20 three-point drought and finished with 13 points on 3-for-7 shooting (1-for-2 from deep).

With a 51-48 advantage after two, Washington celebrated the 35th anniversary of the 1978 Washington Bullets Championship team, Washington's lone Championship in franchise history.
