What: You’re invited to experience a youth and community tribute celebration for the youth organizations that participated in Walks of ART summer workshops throughout various local schools, nonprofits, and recreational centers in Baltimore City.
Did you know? Walks of ART recognizes itself as a Baltimore non-profit that gives "youth a forum to showcase and build upon their talents and interest in an environment that isn't conducive to the stereotypes and stigma" that most impoverished neighborhoods are based upon.
This event is said to be a youth spotlight event to showcase the youth talent within Baltimore city; look forward to dance, song, poetry and a platform for youth and young adult serving organizations to reach out to the community. Also look forward to face painting, caricature drawings, back-to-school supplies and much more.
Who: Open to general public for free.
When: Saturday August 31, 2013 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
