Awhile back I told you about the upcoming "Walking Dead" series that is currently in development at AMC.
Oscar Award-nominated screenwriter and director Frank Darabont ("The Shawshank Redemption") is signed to write and direct the pilot and the writer of "The Walking Dead" comic series, Robert Kirkman is set to executive produce.
It's been a few weeks now and details about the proposed series are starting to leak in.
Specifically, this interview with series creator and writer, Robert Kirkman from Comic Book Resources.
In it, Kirkman assures fans that the tone of the television series will be "110%" faithful to the original comic series and stresses just how heavily involved he plans to be.
However, as dedicated as Kirkman is to the television series, he is also very adamant that the comic series will not be compromised for the sake of the television series and that he has every intention of making sure the series continues on time and on schedule.
It's an interesting read that addresses quite a few fan concerns and gives a good indication of where this series is headed.
