Last night's episode led to the inevitable for Woodbury vs. the prison. On Feb. 18 Huffington Post reports that the war has began between the two groups and The Governor is the one that made the first move. Glen considered going there fueled by his rage over what The Governor did to Maggie.
After opening fire on the prison while Rick was out wondering in a moment of little clarity, Hershel hobbles down to the fence to tell Rick whats going on and he finally tells Hershel about his visions. He realizes that he isn't all there, but it seems it's too late to do anything about it because The Governor shows up and takes aim at anything and everything that moves.
Sadly, Axel, the inmate, ends up getting killed. Carol can do nothing but use his body as a shield until they take aim elsewhere so she can escape from behind his bullet riddled body. The action climaxes when someone driving a truck full of walkers breaks through the gates of the prison releasing all the walkers on to prison grounds. Rick is attacked by two walkers and almost ends up bitten until Daryl and Merle show up to help slay some zombies.
Since the group is almost out of food and The Governor is still out there, they will have to do something. Who do you think will end up winning the war?
