“Walking Dead” star Norman Reedus is known for playing Daryl Dixon, a rough and gruff apocalpse survivor with a soft spot, but Reedus says he’s nothing like his on screen alter ego, the NY Post reported on Feb. 24.
According to Norman he actually doesn’t like confrontation. “People think I’m this angry, surly, ready-to-start-a-fight guy, but I’m kind of a pussycat. I’m kind of a wimp. I don’t like confrontation at all, anywhere. I don’t even like to watch other people have confrontations,” Reedus admitted.
Norman’s celebrity has skyrocketed since being cast on “The Walking Dead,” which is one of the biggest shows on television. Reedus’ character, Daryl Dixon is also a huge favorite among fans, who have gravitated to Daryl’s persona.
Norman Reedus says he sometimes still can’t believe the fan reaction to him and the show. However, his love life is very much like Daryl’s at the moment. He’s single.
Norman says he’s not dating, but he and former longtime love, Helena Christensen, co-parent their 14-year-old son, Mingus, together.
