“Walking Dead” star Andrew Lincoln knows that his character, Rick, may have changed a little last season. After losing his wife while giving birth to her second child, he started seeing her around the jail where the group was living. But it sounds Rick will actually start focusing on his children this upcoming season. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on Oct. 8, “Walking Dead” star Andrew Lincoln is now revealing that fans will get to see a brand new Rick this upcoming season of the show.
"Rick did have a good reason [for being how he was in season three]," Andrew revealed to E! news about the big changes in his character. Rick was going a little crazy, seeing his dead wife outside of the jail and even making decisions against the group’s wishes. However, he reveals that things are changing for Rick. “But you see a different Rick this season. That's all I'll say. I mean, he's a man that's renounced leadership. He's stopped the brutality of the world for the sake of his children,” he reveals. "I'm spending most of the season trying to keep [Carl] in hand," Lincoln said. "There's a bit of a single parent, apocalyptic parenting going on this season."
Of course, Lincoln’s son on the show is growing up in a world, where survival is the top priority. He started carrying around a gun even though he hasn’t even hit the teenage years yet. What do you think of Andrew’s revelation for the new season?
