While at PaleyFest, the cast and executive producer of "Walking Dead," Greg Nicotero, shared a few spoilers for the fourth season of the popular post apocalyptic show. On March 2, Screen Crush shared the details of what fans can expect to see and how it will be different since there is now a new show runner.
Greg says that there will be less "run and gun" and more and more digging into the backgrounds of the characters. In the first season of the show, fans got to delve into some of the backgrounds and lives of the characters before there were zombies. The second and third seasons have seen less action with everyone walled up at the farm, then at the prison. Greg reminds fans that it is important to know what Carol's story is, and what Daryl's life was like before now because it tells you something about them now.
He continues by saying that when you have so many characters in a show, it becomes difficult but likely more necessary to share everyone's stories because some people simply can't or won't get along with others.
As for the season finale of season three, fans shouldn't expect a huge cliffhanger to lead them into season four. Laurie Holden, who plays Andrea, says that it will be quite the opposite.
