'Walking Dead' recap of 'Arrow on the Doorpost': Going to war

On the March 10 episode of "The Walking Dead," which is titled, "Arrow on the Doorpost," Rick announces to the group that they are going to war, but he is having second thoughts.

He has just come back from meeting with the Governor who says there will be peace if he hands over Michonne. Rick tells the group that they are going to war, but in "Arrow on the Doorpost" confides in Hershel about what the Governor really said. He says that even if he hands her over, that he will probably kill them anyways.

On this episode of "The Walking Dead," Rick seems really unsure of what to do. On the one hand, he wants the Governor to leave them alone and let them stay at the prison in peace. On the other, he does not want to sacrifice another member of their group, even though she only recently has made an effort to actually bond with them. In the end, Rick knows that no matter what decision he makes, he knows that the Governor wants them dead.

Were you surprised that Rick was having second thoughts on "The Walking Dead" episode titled "Arrow on the Doorpost?"
