According to NBC News on Jan. 17, Nick Santonastasso, who can only be described as a “super fan” of “The Walking Dead,” hooked up with Andrew Lincoln, who plays Rick on the show, to scare Reedus. The cast and crew were in Japan promoting “The Walking Dead,” so they flew Santonastasso all the way to the other side of the world to do this.

Born with a rare condition called Hanhart syndrome, the teen has only one arm and he has no legs. Santonastasso has been dressing up as a “Walking Dead” zombie for quite some time and making videos that show him scaring unsuspecting folks in malls and other public venues and then posting the videos online.

He makes an excellent zombie and it sounds of if Reedus has been advocating to get him on “The Walking Dead” for some time now. For this prank the teen was made up by the shows expert make-up staff and he hides under a cart covered with a tablecloth.

Reedus, who is seated for an interview, is left in the room alone for a minute as the interviewer excuses herself for a second. This is when the teen crawls across the floor making the zombie sounds.

Reedus jumps and makes a strange sound as you can see in the video above. They got him, as this “Walking Dead” prank was a successful. The look on Reedus's face was priceless.
