FOX News and other media outlets reported on Tuesday that a Texas woman and former actress, who had minor roles on AMC's hit series, 'The Walking Dead,' and the movie, 'The Blind Side,' pleaded guilty yesterday to a federal charge of possessing and producing a biological toxin. Shannon Guess Richardson entered her guilty plea in federal court in Texarkana, Texas.

Richardson was arrested in June after sending ricin-laced letters to President Barack Obama and two others. Federal prosecutors say on May 20, Richardson mailed three letters, one each to President Obama, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, and Mark Glaze, director of Bloomberg's pro-gun control group, Mayors Against Illegal Guns.

Richardson's attorney, Tonda Curry, said the guilty plea was part of a deal that would limit her prison time to 18 years. Richardson had been facing a sentence of up to life in prison. Authorities said Richardson attempted to implicate her estranged husband, Nathan Richardson, after he had filed for divorce.

Richardson admitted her guilt in detail in a document submitted to the court. In the document Richardson stated that on the morning of May 20, she waited for Nathan Richardson to go to work.

"After he left the house, I printed the mailing labels for President Barack Obama, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, and Mark Glaze with The Raben Group," Richardson said in the document.

The document also contained a letter written by Richardson threatening President Obama.

"What's in this letter is nothing compared to what ive got in store for you mr president," the letter read, ""You will have to kill me and my family before you get my guns. Anyone wants to come to my house will get shot in the face."
