The Oakland Zoo is hosting Walk in the Wild - An Epicurean Escapade! on Saturday June 21, 2014, from 5pm – 10pm. Guests at the event will enjoy scrumptious catering paired with fine wine, beer and specialty drinks as they are wined and dined throughout the zoo.
Walk in the Wild is a fundraiser for the Oakland Zoo that comes with much anticipation this year. The 22nd annual event will feature more than 100 restaurants, caterers, bakeries, wineries, and breweries representing San Francisco Bay Area’s finest epicurean escapade. Guests can stroll through the zoo sampling different foods and beverages and enjoying different bands.
The evening ends with live music, dancing and dessert at the Flamingo Plaza at sunset. Take 2 (TK2) party band will be performing in the café courtyard. This dynamic 7-piece band plays covers from Rock, Country, Hip Hop, R&B, and Pop.
Tickets start at $150 per person and are available to adults 21 and over due to the service of alcohol. Admissions support Oakland Zoo’s conservation, education, and animal enrichment programs.
