When hearing of Gulf Coast food, seafood naturally comes to mind. Fresh local seafood, that is. Scumptious shrimp, captivating crab, and flavorful redfish are all local favorites, to mention a few. What about a juicy burger or pizza? Do you know where to go for the best prime rib or steak? There are many local favorites and best kept secrets hidden throughout the area. Whether its seafood, steak or something ethnic you crave there is something for everyone.
TipSea's steam shack is a local favorite beaming with atmosphere. The motto here is "locals serving locals". They have fantastic food and enlivening entertainment. You get the feeling your among friends having a quaint dinner. There's a feeling of nostalgia and camaraderie.
Although it's small, it's packs a big punch. There is intimate seating for two as well as enough space for groups and a small dance floor area where the band plays. There is a full bar for ordering any kind of concoction you could want and there's a large deck with seating outside for enjoying the Gulf breeze and perhaps a nice glass of wine.
While the specialty is jumbo shrimp, on Friday and Saturday nights they have a mouth watering prime rib dinner and live entertainment starting at 6:30. If that's not enough to get your senses stirring, try a slice of the famous paper thin crust pizza. TipSea's is located upstairs in the blue building, across the street from the unfinished Phoenix West on the beach road in Orange Beach. TipSea's is located approximatly one hour from the Mobile area. Dress is casual, prices are great and the atmosphere is fantastic. Walk the plank at TipSea's.
