THE LABYRINTH WALK is a pathway of ancient design, emblematic of the spiritual journey. There is an 11-Circuit medieval labyrinth, a replica of the 13th Century design found in The Great Chartres Cathedral in France.
Labyrinths offer a unique way to pray and can open one to a deep sense of the Sacred. They are found in many Religious Traditions and cultures.
Walking the Labyrinth serves many purposes, including healing, discernment, and giving thanks. The spiraling motion, with it's gentle right and left turns, can relax and center the mind.
A Labyrinth is not a maze, it has only one path and requires no decisions except to enter and walk........
THE LABYRINTH WALK:
Quiet the mind through breathing, prayer, meditation, setting an intention, or asking a question. Ask for guidance for fulfillment and Joy of life.
THE WAY IN: Step on the path and let go of expectations, honor your own rhythm and pace. Let go of all your worries, sorrows, anger, fears, money issues. Ask for the patience, knowledge and wisdom to forgive.
THE CENTER: Rest in presence, linger as long as you wish and make a wish before you leave the center. Leave all your worries there. Open your mind, Open your heart, follow your shining star.
THE WAY OUT: Using the same path, retrace your steps back to the entrance, honor whatever was received. Be grateful for what you do have in life that makes you smile.
As with other spiritual practices, the more you walk and pray with the labyrinth, the greater the gifts. Google for a labyrinth near you and enjoy the journey of healing and balance!
PEACE, HARMONY, QUIET REFECTION TO YOU ALWAYS!
