“Walk in Obedience….Love!”(2 John 1:6)

"And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love." (2 John 1:6)

Most people want their family to show love and have harmonious relationships with one another. The art of getting along is taught with the results of avoiding strife. Conflicts do arise, but constructive communication is needed to preserve the relationship. The tone of voice is just as important as what is said. The goal is to share the truth with care and love for the other person.

God in His Holy Bible teaches the command to love others. Believers become apart of God’s family and accept His command to love. Obedience to this command will preserve relationships with God and other people. Love is walked or carried out in daily conversations and actions. A love response cares more about the other person than being right or winning during a conflict.

Challenge: Believer, walk in obedience by obeying the love command. Your relationships with God and people will be blessed.
