Walk Now for Autism in November

Autism Speaks is an organization that helps raise funds for Autism research. Each year all around the country Autism Speaks holds an event called "Walk Now for Autism." This year's event for Orlando, Florida, is being held at Crane's Roost Park in Altamonte Springs on November 10th, 2012. The walk begins at 10:30 am.

According to the CDC, 1 in 88 children are now being diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. This is up nearly 70% previous diagnosis rate at 1 in 125 just 4 years prior. This momentous increase in rates of autism diagnosis has organizations like Autism Speaks Orlando working even harder to raise money for vital research.
