A Daily Word from the Word for Monday, June 16, 2014

“Your Word, Oh God, is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” – Psalm 119:105

It is God’s marvelous light that dispels the darkness. John 1:1-5 shines this powerful and eternal light of truth as it testifies from the darkest pit: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it!”

My fervent pray is that all would come out of darkness and into His marvelous light. God's plans are good and prosperous plans. To reach God's best, you must walk in His way; and to walk in His way, you must come into agreement with His Word. “Teach me your way, O Lord, and lead me in a straight path.” - Psalm 27:11. I love you, my brothers and sisters, and I pray God's best for you.

Father, thank You for Your Word which is the Light that shines forth through the darkness of deception. Help us Oh Lord, to forsake every way and belief, including our own ways and beliefs, which do not line up with your Word. Let your Truth, Your Conviction, rise up within us by Your Most Holy Spirit; and shine Your light of Righteousness so brightly within us that the darkness must flee. In Jesus Name, we thank You that we “walk in the light, as Jesus is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the Blood of Jesus, Your Son, purifies us from all sin” (1 John 1:7). Amen and Amen.

Take action! Challenge your thinking! Choose to forsake the deception and death of darkness for God’s marvelous light. Choose to “cast down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled” (2 Corinthians 10:5-6). And continue to fight the good fight of always walking in God’s light of Truth and Protection; for God, your Ultimate Answer, has already given you the victory!

If you have never received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, I encourage you to do it today, right now, by saying this prayer out loud: “Jesus, forgive me for my sins. I am sorry. I truly desire to be saved and reconciled back to God, my Father, through You. I receive Your sinless Blood as payment in full for my sins—past, present, and future. I now call You my Lord and Savior, and invite You to live within my heart, and to permanently live within me. I make You Lord over me and over my life from this moment on. Amen.” Congratulations! You are now a child of God, made whole and made new, by the Blood of Jesus Christ!

God tells us that we are blessed to be a blessing (Genesis 12:2). Be a blessing to someone by sending them this word of encouragement. If God did not already put someone in your spirit and on your heart that needs to read this uplifting message from above, simply ask your Heavenly Father who to bless on today. Forward this message right now by email, facebook, or twitter.

Jesus is coming soon!

May God Bless you and keep you always.

With warmest regards,

And, in service of The Most High King,
