Walk and wine this winter

If you like outdoor adventure combined with wine and fondue, then Livingsocial.com’s Snowshoe, Fondue, and Wine Package is worth a look. For $59 per person, get a one-hour guided winter hike – with snowshoes if there is enough snow. Then, wind down with a vegetable, bread, and cheese fondue buffet and a winery tour. Enjoy tasting five different wines at Aspen Peak Cellars in Bailey, and then select your favorite to enjoy.

The guided snowshoe hike happens at Meyer Park Ranch in Morrison. Strap on the gear provided and follow the experts through the trails. Then retreat to Aspen Peak Cellars to for a tour of the micro-winery and work through the fondue buffet and the wine tasting. Folks who are less physically ambitious can skip the hike and go right to Aspen Peak for $29.
