For the second season in a row, Walgreens in the official food sponsor of MADE Fashion Week.
Fashion showgoers who want to nosh before, after or in between shows can choose from a variety of fresh food and snacks from the Walgreens Nice! And Delish brands. Offerings include healthy options such as Quinoa Salad, Probiotic Fruit & Nut Blend, Strawberry Yogurt and Ham & Swiss Sandwiches on 7-Grain to promote Walgreens’ nutritious fresh food offerings at their stores. Thanks to the new Web Pickup Service being launched by Walgreens, those with time restraints can feel at ease when ordering online and picking up their already assembled selections at the Walgreens Web Pickup Kiosk in the Gallery at Milk Studios. Because Fashion Week is a preview for influencers of what’s to come, Walgreen customers nationwide can soon experience the benefits of ordering online and picking up from their own local Walgreens, too.
For the shows, Walgreens has a team of fashion #SnackSpotters that will be on-site at Milk Studios reporting the latest trends in food all week. Be sure to watch what you eat, notables like Erica Domesek, Candice Kumai and Serena Goh of TheSpicyStiletto.com, will be Tweeting and all their latest food finds of models snacking backstage.
In celebration of the launch, Fashion illustrator Deer Dana, a favorite of Leigh Lezark and Jay Z, has teamed up with Walgreens, the exclusive food sponsor of Made Fashion Week, to create a limited edition lunch box, dubbed “Alpaca Lunch,” for show-goers to tote around their healthy snacks in style. The retro-inspired lunch box, featuring a necklace-clad Alpaca eating a pretzel, will be distributed to select influencers at Milk Studios throughout the week.
