WALA-TV pre-empts regular programming with automobile race

WALA-TV and other TV stations affiliated with the FOX Broadcasting Company were broadcasting the company's live network programming about the Duck Commander 500 this past Monday, April 7th, instead of the programs they usually broadcast between 11:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. from Monday through Friday due to the race being delayed by rain on the previous day (WALA-TV returned to regular programming at 3:23 p.m. beginning with an edition of the syndicated discussion program "The Dr. Phil Show" all ready in progress).
