The ticker graphic WALA-TV introduced during their local morning news program ("FOX 10 News in the Morning") this past Friday, June 6th, had scrolling texts based on different categories of news and information, the names of the categories ("local", "national", "lottery", "[weather] forecasts", and "finance") appearing above the texts (each category would get highlighted based on the text being scrolled), temperatures and weather icons (such as a sun and clouds) for various areas in their broadcast area near the right side of the screen below their logo (their local evening news programs also had temperatures and weather icons below the logo last Friday), and a graphic for one of their sponsors near the left side of the screen (the ticker usually appeared only during news segments).
