Demand for the new systems is high; and an official release date for the Xbox One has yet to be announced. It is expected to hit shelves in November, but those who want to ensure they get first dibs may want to head over to their local Wal-Mart store quickly.
Wal-Mart stated in an official press release that those interested in pre ordering one of the systems will need to put down a 10% deposit and speak to an associate in the electronics department. As the release did not say how many Xbox One or PS4 consoles they have; it appears to be on a first-come; first-serve basis.
The deposit equates to $40 for the PS4 and $50 for an Xbox One.
Shoppers looking to pre-order the units online will be disappointed and need to visit their local Wal-Mart store and speak directly to an associate.
One of the greatest advantages of this pre-order deal, is that those who don’t have the cash up front to pay for their system may do so when it is time to pick up the gaming device.
Check with your local Wal-Mart’s electronic associate for full details.
