Wake Up and Smell the Bacon Device & App

If you're tired of the same old ho-hum alarm clock sounds that blast you out of a sound sleep, you're in luck. Oscar Mayer recently announced the release of a handy-dandy device that plugs into the bottom of a cell phone that emits the sensational smell of, wait for it - bacon! Oscar Mayer's Wake Up and Smell the Bacon detachable dongle is currently available for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices. The accompanying Wake Up & Smell the Bacon alarm app, which plays the sound of sizzlin' bacon, is currently available for free at Apple's iTunes Store.

The device will not be sold in stores. You'll have until April 4, 2014, to apply for one online.
