Tour buses, flashing lights, and fanny packs. I live a great life. After getting lost in a garage for 20 minutes before my Waka interview it was great to finally see the tour bus with his face gracing the side. Upon entering the bus, I have to admit that I was a little nervous until I realized I had joined Tootie from Drank Epidemic and Britt from True Sole. Five minutes after my arrival Waka entered the bus with bags and jokes. From that point on I knew it was going to be a good night.
It was time to leave the tour bus and the air was filled with conversations of Tootie’s sexy forehead, my Supra’s and Rakim. Once we made it backstage and into the dressing room Tootie, Britt, and I decided to work as a team to get this interview done. Waka entered the room, made sure we were comfortable, put on his charm and the interview commenced.
Once the interview was over we decided to enjoy Steve Aoki and made the mistake of leaving the backstage area. (Lesson learned: Never leave the backstage area if you don’t have your pass). After being overwhelmed with glitter, bright lights, fanny packs and fist pumps, Tootie entertained us with her EDM dance and like that it was an end to an awesome night.
