Richard Quick, 33 a waiter at Yellowstone Cafe in the Lamp and Lantern Village at the intersection of 141 and Clayton Road, has been charged for stealing a customer's credit card and then using it to purchase things. On 25-July 2012, Quick was working at the restaurant when one of his customer's left behind their credit card. When the customer realized his credit card was missing, he contacted the restaurant that day but Quick had already completed his shift and left for the day. The customer later discovered fraudulent charges on his credit card and contacted the police.
The police questioned Quick who claimed that the customer had accidently left their credit card and that he must have accidently taken it and then accidently dropped it in his cousin's car when the cousin picked him up. Reportedly, the cousin later advised the police that Quick had wanted to rehearse what the cousin should say in the even that the police contacted him. He said that Quick had given him the stolen credit card and wanted him to make purchases with it. Quick was arrested and taken into custody on a $10,000 bond. Quick was formally charged on 6-September 2013.
