The Book Hound show, an author centered radio program has added a new segment. America Matters Media has expanded The Book Hound show to one hour on Fridays between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. Pacific Time, with replays Sunday nights at 8 p.m. Pacific Time.
In the first half hour, show hosts, Janice Hermsen and Dennis Duperault continue interviewing emerging and bestselling authors. The second half called “Waggin’ and Braggin’ hosts both businesses and authors who have an opportunity to share their stories.
What criteria are required to be on this segment? According to co-host, Dennis Duperault, all you have to do is share a book that has either helped you in your business or one you would recommend to the listeners that might relate to what the business does. And Janice Hermsen added, “In America Matters style, we hope we and our guests will "Enthusiastically Entertain, Educate, and Enlighten Everyone Everywhere". Or at least, we’ll try.”
This week, E.A. Martonyi, author of The Little Man in the Map series will share how rhyming and mnemonics and the colorful illustrations in his book have made geography easier for children. In the Waggin’ and Braggin’ segment, Gwen Jensen, President of the new Spanish Springs Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc. will provide information about Blue Star Mothers and share a book for people who want to know more about the organization or one that might help her fellow Blue Star Mothers.
