"The cool thing about this event is participants pick the school where their money goes and the $$ are straight to PTO's - nowhere else!" Susie Wargin
All three treks take you through some of the most beautiful countryside and open space that Douglas County Colorado has to offer.
WackyW Family Course also has two options the "Fat Tire" for the more adventurious family and "Cruiser" for those who want to stay on the paved pathways and roads.
WackyW Long Course: This course includes some challenging climbs on Monarch, Wolfensberger and Daniels Park Road. You'll be enjoying the forgeous fall array of colors and a couple of fun descents. Two aid stations will be available one in Sedalia CO 10 miles along the trek and one in Castle Rock at mile marker 22.
WackyW Longer Course: This route includes some of the long course challenges but also includes some fun miles from Castle Rock into Parker and along the Frontage Road in Lone Tree and Castle Pines. The Long and Longer Routes share the same first 22 miles (as well as aid stations). There will be two additional aid stations on the Longer Route in Parker (Stroh Road) and Castle Pines.
Race Day fun starts at Rocky Heights Middle School in Littleton. (Map Below)

There are a variety of ways you can volunteer to help with this great fundraising event for our schools the day of the race, before the race at the Chipotle fundraiser on September 3, 2011 or by simply spreading the word about the event and participating in the rough job of eating at Chipotle on the fundraiser date. Douglas County High School students in need of community service hours? This is the job for you. More information on WackyW volunteer signups is here.
This looks to be a fantastic inaugural kickoff for Susie Wargins WackyW race to become a fundraiser for Douglas County Educational Foundation every year. You can also follow Susie on Twitter & on Facebook
