Wack-a-media smackdown on CBS

Wow, is CBS on a mission to completely destroy what is left of their network?  After being chastised for days about their unfair 89-second coverage of Ron Paul in their sponsored debate in which the Congressman clearly got the shaft, CBS's Bob Schieffer of "Face the Nation" apparently felt like if he was going to feel forced to finally cover him.....You are going to get it alright!

If CBS was going to crawl their way out of the obviously-biased category by interviewing Ron Paul, this interview surely did not do it for them.  In fact, I would not be surprised if the Paul campaign just got a little bump up in Iowa among the large "Undecided" segment of voters by effectively holding his own while facing an obvious mainstream media hitpiece.

Seems that the video page that was supposed to contain the clip on CBS's website no longer contains the video. Thank goodness for a link to it on YouTube (see video).

Newt Gingrich's seemingly planned-out, phony-looking attacks on the media have worked for him so far and very well indeed.  Not so fast though, maybe Newt needs to move over. The gentleman from Texas just showed that possibly he has the real "fire in the belly" needed to clinch this race.  Even if you do not agree with Ron Paul on some of his stances, he may have just scored what he needed to break out of the pack and increase his lead in Iowa.
