The Fresno State women’s basketball team is headed to the NCAA Tournament for the sixth time and will face fourth-seeded Nebraska.

The Bulldogs defeated top-seeded Colorado State 77-68 in the Mountain West Conference Tournament Saturday to earn a bid to the big show.

NCAA Tournament play will begin Saturday at 1 p.m. for the No. 13 seeded Bulldogs at the Pauley Pavilion in Westwood.

The winner of that game will play Monday against the winner of No. 5 North Carolina State (25-7) and No. 12 Brigham Young (26-6), which will also be decided Saturday.

Fresno State is 0-6 in the tournament, losing last year to Cal, 90-76.

"I know it's been such a huge part of the program to go to the NCAAs and I hope the players really know how special it is to get this far," coach Raegan Pebley said. "But we're not done yet. We're playing to win, as many times as we can. That's our team's focus."
