"Vows Of Deception" synopsis/plot
When a prominent attorney meets Lucinda, a beautiful blonde, he immediately falls in love with her. There is only one problem: She's an ex con. As the town gossips about the new attorney's lover, his best friend, a tenacious detective, keeps a close eye on this mysterious beauty.

According to the Movies Based On True Stories Archives, the movie is based on the murder of Attorney James Grund by his wife Susan Grund. The real case took place in Indiana. Susan Grund was later found guilty of the murder.

The movie now airs on Lifetime and Lifetime Movie Network.
