In my article for June 11, 2013, I announced the voting for your favorite non-profit giving them a chance to be one of the 15 to receive $10,000.00 for their programs’ growth and development in Tom's of Maine's 50 States for Good event this year.
The non-profits have now been narrowed down to the 51 who the public can vote on for the final chance to be one of those lucky 15. Today, September 15, 2013 the voting has opened giving you one final chance help you state’s representative in the challenge.
This year there is an interactive feature where you can see who the 51 finalists are and why their volunteers and employees fee they are deserving of being one of those lucky 15.
There were nearly 1,000 nominations, from the public nationwide, for this final phase. A judging panel to include: Ian Somerhalder star of “The Vampire Diaries” and Founder of the IS Foundation, Matt Petronzio assistant feature editor in Mashable.com’s social good section, Lisa Dietlin a non-profit strategist and columnist in the Huffington Post and Sam Davidson the President of “Cool People Care” narrowed the choices down to the 51 you can vote on now.
