Voter registration ends this Friday

Friday, 20 January 2012 is the last day to apply for voter registration to be eligible to vote in the 14 February 2012 Annual School Election in Washita County.

Election Board Secretary Leah Jones stated that persons who are United States citizens, residents of Oklahoma, and at least 18 years of age may apply to become registered voters.

Individuals who have never registered before or who are not currently registered in Washita County should complete a registration form.  Persons needing to change their personal information should also complete a form.   Forms may be found at the Elections Board office, post offices, tag offices, and public libraries.  Forms may also be obtained online at www.elections.ok.gov.
