Vote NOW in the DAS "Name Our Mascot" Contest

Dallas Animal Services & Adoption Center‘s “Name The Mascot contest is winding down. Have you voted yet?

From the 150+ suggestions originally submitted, five VIP judges selected their three favorites. The fifteen semi-finalist names were put into a hat, and Dallas Animal Services Division Manager Jody Jones chose the Top Five Finalists in a random drawing.

They are:

  • Hope
  • DASH (Dallas Animal Services Hero/Hound)
  • Wes (as in Westmoreland)
  • Tagg
  • Rudy, the Rescue Dog.

Voting remains open on the Dallas Animal Services Facebook page through midnight, Monday, 11/26. $1 per vote with all donations going toward the care and comfort of the animals in the shelter. But hurry – time is running out. The winning name will be announced on the DAS Facebook page on Tuesday.
