Volunteer opportunities still available for Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic

The announcement, last February, that the LPGA would be returning to the Bay Area has caused a lot of excitement among Bay Area golf fans. Golf fans who are anxious to see the ladies of the LPGA in action at Lake Merced Golf Club in Daly City in the Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic, but want to be more than just spectators, can make a contribution to the effort by becoming a tournament volunteer.

Volunteer positions are still available for the event, which runs April 23rd to 27th. Your volunteer package provides you a unique, behind-the-scenes LPGA Tour experience and includes:

  • A uniform package, which includes a polo shirt, a volunteer outerwear piece and a hat
  • Complimentary food & beverage vouchers on the days that you work
  • Access to the Tournament Grounds for the week (Wed-Sun)
  • Volunteer hot breakfast (Thu-Sun before 9 a.m.)
  • Free parking and transportation

Tournament volunteers perform a wide variety of jobs, in a number of areas, such as:

  • Exhibitor Support/Fan Experience
  • Marshals
  • Player Transportation
  • Scoring Control
  • Walking Scorers
  • Standard Bearers
  • Main Scoreboard
  • Golf Channel
  • Scoring/Starter/Autograph Tent
  • Security/Parking
  • Volunteer Tent
