There are number of volunteer opportunities available at Nauticus in Norfolk, Virginia.
Children as young as 10 can volunteer alongside their parent and there is no minimum on the age for adults to volunteer.
One can work with in a group or individually, depending on the task at hand.
Examples of volunteer opportunities including helping to restore the Battleship Wisconsin, showing a child how to touch a horseshoe crab, helping a guest find the perfect souvenir, or supporting the office staff. No matter what one may choose, serving as a volunteer is an invaluable part of the Nauticus’ crew.
If interested, one can submit an Online Volunteer Application Form, successfully complete an interview, and attend a volunteer orientation. For those who wish to work in a group helping to restore the Battleship Wisconsin, must submit a Group Volunteer Application.
