Right Stuf, Inc. today announced that the sixth volume of the popular manga series, “Hetalia: Axis Powers”, would be released in North America beginning in mid-May.

“Hetalia: Axis Powers” was original created as a Japanese web comic by Hidekaz Himaruya, with countries and historical events represented by characters, poking fun at cultural stereotypes. The series was eventually adapted into a manga (as well as an anime) which was released in North America by Tokyopop.

Right Stuf has reached an arrangement with Tokyopop and the Japanese publisher Gentosha Comics to publish the manga’s sixth volume, and the first run of the book will include a six-page color insert. Once the initial print sells out, it will shift to Right Stuf’s print-on-demand service.

“Hetalia” fans can look for the sixth volume to be available beginning on May 13, 2014. You can learn more about the series by visiting the official page. If you’re interested in the anime series as well, you can visit FUNimation.com.
