London's airports have closed due to volcanic ash in the skies over southeastern England.  These airports will are closed until at least 07:00 BST on Monday, May 17:

  • Heathrow
  • Gatwick
  • London City
  • Stansted

Manchester and Liverpool airports reopened at 01:00 as the cloud shifted south.  Some airports in western Scotland are also closed, although Edinburgh and Glasgow remain open. 

In the Republic of Ireland, only Dublin airport remains closed (until 12:00 local time). All airports in Northern Ireland are also closed.
