Danish rockers Volbeat journey to Clive's 7 Flags Event Center on Saturday, April 19, for a 7:30 p.m. concert. Volbeat has had #1 albums in seven different countries. While the band's albums have only made it to #9 in the U.S., Volbeat has tallied four #1 singles here in the States. You can check out a single from the band's latest album, Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies, in the nearby video. Orlando thrash band Trivium will open the show. Tickets for the show are $33 in advance and $38 at the door. Tickets may be purchased through Red Truck Tickets.

Sheffield, Iowa-born performer Dick Prall returns to Iowa from his current base of operations in Chicago for a show at Wooly's in Des Moines' East Village on March 22. Prall is currently working on his 5th full-length album of rootsy power pop, which is being funded through a PledgeMusic campaign. Opening the show for Prall will be Des Moines singer/songwriter Max Jury. Tickets for the 21-and-over concert are $10 in advance and $12 the day of the show. They may be purchased at the Wooly's box office or online through Ticketfly.
