SeaWorld Orlando is best known for its orca and dolphin shows, but a lot goes on behind the scenes. The park rescues a wide variety of animals, from mantees to sea turtles, and rehabilitates them for an eventual return to the wild. Those too badly injured to live in their natural habitat stay at the park.

The orcas and other animal residents are ambassadors for their species, sparking interest in marine mammal conservation. If you've ever seen the One Ocean show, you probably noticed the strong conservation message. While most of the killer whales currently at SeaWorld Orlando were born in captivity, it's still important to bring awareness to their wild counterparts and the other animals out in the ocean that need to be protected.
The park will be posting future episodes of Voices of SeaWorld in the coming weeks. Watch for them if you'd like a behind-the-scenes peek at the magnificent animals and what it's like to work with them.
