Remember watching the Peanut’s gang when you were little? Charlie Brown and Snoopy were and still is a popular cartoon. Snoopy was a loyal dog to Charlie Brown. I wonder if Charlie ever gave Snoopy Glucosamine for dogs to keep his joints healthy?
They still air the specials every Holiday for everyone to enjoy. Well, the voice actor for Charlie Brown isn’t so happy these days. He has been arrested on stalking charges against his girlfriend and for threatening to kill the plastic surgeon who did work on his ex-girlfriend. The work he actually paid for.
It has been reported that Robbins, 56, called his ex-girlfriend 37 times within a 24 hour period telling her he would kill her and her son if his dog and his car wasn’t returned to him. Since he also threatened the plastic surgeon, demanding a refund of his money, the doctor was forced to move into a hotel fearing for her life and also hired a guard to stand by the door of her clinic.
Robbins is best known for the voice of Charlie Brown in the TV specials, “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown”, You’re in Love, Charlie Brown” and “A Boy Named Charlie Brown” which aired back in 1960. He has pleaded not guilty but is being held on a $550,000 bond.
It has also been reported that Robbins had been practicing at a shooting range and even bought a gun, although he had not gone to pick it up yet. If he is convicted, he could face up to 9 years in prison for his actions.
