Voddie Baucham to speak at Ashland Christian School

On Friday April 30th Voddie Baucham will speak at Ashland Christian School as their annual guest speaker.  Baucham, who has emerged as an up and coming voice--particularly within the homeschool movement, will deliver a message entitled, "Truth and the Duty of a Christian."

ACS Director of Worldview and Development Rich Policz is responsible for bringing in Baucham.  Policz said that his aim in doing so was to promote the fact that ACS believes that it is ultimately parents who are responsible for teaching and training their children.

"We at Ashland Christian School believe our role is to come alongside Christian families and support them as they pass on truth. Dr. Baucham is a strong voice for families and we're excited about the call to action that he'll present," said Policz.

Baucham is pastor of Grace Family Baptist Church in Spring, Texas, and has authored books such as Family Driven Faith and What He Must be to Marry My Daughter.  Most recently Baucham has been involved in the Sufficiency of Scripture Conference held in Cincinnati, OH and the True Women Conferences with Nancy Leigh DeMoss.

Ticket cost for the event is by donation.  Advance tickets began on March 1.  As seating is limited it is recommended that potential attendees call the church office (419.289.8334) or stop by Ashland Christian School office to obtain tickets.

Doors will open at 6:30 pm for the event which is set to formally begin at 7:00.  A book signing and dessert are scheduled follow Baucham's presentation.
