September 10, 2010 -- The MTV VMAs may be on Sunday but today at the Nokia Theatre in downtown Los Angeles, the behind the scenes preparations is continuing. Taking the stage we saw in the Emmys and converting it over to a cool MTV stage (not that the Emmy's were cool, but they were more proper) isn't done over night.
The stage is going to be big, loud and fun. And if that isn't enough the critics keep saying people who have been to Los Angeles will get the feeling of being comfortable with it, especially if they have come throught the Los Angeles Airport. The design of the stage is by Florian Wieder, and it will be massive. The rotating billboard, the curved catwalk and even circle performance space is exactly what makes this award show something to be excited about.
If you can't see everything on stage, no worries. Two massive (and I do mean massive) televisions will flank the stage to help divide it and share the activities happening on stage.
The VMAs are Sunday on MTV. Don't be surprised to see all your favorite entertainers on stage. Rehearsals have been ongoing since Monday and everyone who has got a hit on the charts has been spotted in Los Angeles.
