Coming in 2013, Starz will be adding yet another vampire television show to the television line up. News about NBC's "Dracula" is making many fans excited because ex "Tudors" star Jonathan Rhys Meyers will be heading the lead character, Dracula. But, this show is different than the traditional shows, "True Blood" and "The Vampire Diaries".
This one is going to focus more on the real life Dracula, Vlad Dracul, the Prince of Wallachia. The story is going to be based on both historical facts as well as ones that have embellished the story of this leader and his fight to keep his kingdom and his family.
Creators and writers include; J. Michael Straczynski, whose work includes "Thor" and the "Underworld: Awakening", Roy Lee of "The Ring" and Rob Tapert of "Xena: Warrior Princess".
