Anime and manga publisher Viz Media has today launched a new kid’s comic app, the sticky DOT comics app, for Apple iPad and iPad Mini devices.
The new sticky DOT comics app is intended to offer parents an all-ages digital manga, graphic novel app for their children to have access to some of Viz Media’s most popular, young reader friendly titles, from their Viz Kids imprint. Among the first series, over thirty volumes are planned to launch this week, to join the available lineup are “Pokémon Adventures”, “Pokémon Adventures: Diamond and Pearl/Platinum”, “Pokémon Black and White”, “Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl Adventure!”, “Mameshiba: On the Loose!”, “Little Miss Sunshine: Here Comes the Sun!”, “Mr. Strong: Good Thing I Came Along!”, “Redakai” and Voltron Force”.
The sticky DOT comics app is available to download now on the iPad and iPad Mini free through the iTunes Store. Individual manga/graphic novel volumes are available for purchase and download through the app for the price of $2.99-$3.99 per volume.
