Designer Vivienne Westwood slammed Michelle Obama for her taste in fashion. According to a March 8 report on the Business Insider, she's not a fan of the First Lady's style. She had a few choice words to say during a New York Times Interview.
Vivienne slammed Michelle's fashion sense as "dreadful." She said that she doesn't like anything that the First Lady wears. Vivienne also told the interviewer that she didn't want to talk about Michelle.
The interviewer insisted that she should carry on. Westwood slammed Mrs. Obama's fashion sense some more. She complimented the First Lady by saying that she's "nice looking." Then she said that Obama should wear clothes that suit her body.
Michelle Obama isn't the only woman that Vivienne Westwood attacked. She also slammed Kate Middleton for her taste in clothes and in cosmetics. Vivienne said that the Duchess of Cambridge should recycle her clothes and should wear eyeliner more often.
Michelle Obama has received criticism in the fashion industry before. She's been recently criticized for her Oscars 2013 dress. The First Lady also stirred controversy when she had several designers submit proposals for her Inaugural ball gown.
