The Vivienne Tam pre-spring 2015 collection features 23 looks of transitional pieces fit for holiday and the office. Witty hexagonal features decorate the collection in mesh forms as well as embroideries, perforated designs, and appliques. "The hexagon has great meaning in Chinese culture," designer Vivienne Tam explained. Her collection is seldom without her native land's influence.
One such signature influence is the floral element, a staple in Vivienne Tam. These floral elements are present in this resort collection in a beautiful frontal embroidery on a stretch cotton, A-line dress and on a bomber of black and white. It is an easy and soft collection with a sweet simplicity like that found in solid shorts, crop tops, and handkerchief skirts. There are plenty of frocks which are perfect for throwing over a swimsuit. Reversely, a slip or camisole underneath would bring the same mesh dresses and tops to the office with propriety when worn under the cool, geometric shaped trench coats from the collection.
